Detailed Review
The iOttie Easy One Touch Signature CD Slot Car Mount provides a secure holding spot for smartphones inside vehicles equipped with a CD player. It solves the problem of loose phones sliding around the dashboard or center console, making it ideal for drivers who want straightforward navigation viewing right from their stereo slot.
Daily operation centers on the patented Easy One Touch trigger. By pressing the side locking arms outward and placing the device against the central trigger button, the cradle arms snap shut automatically around your phone. An adjustable bottom foot with a spring-release button lets you align different device heights, while a magnetic tab near the base keeps charging cords tidy when plugged in.
Versatility extends to viewing preferences via an integrated rotating ball. Drivers can switch between vertical portrait orientation for standard apps and horizontal landscape mode for map navigation. The universal cradle accommodates devices and phone cases measuring between 2.3 inches and 3.5 inches wide.
As a dedicated CD slot cradle, this unit requires an open and functional CD player slot in your dashboard, making it unsuitable for vehicles without one. Additionally, devices or extra-bulky setups narrower than 2.3 inches or wider than 3.5 inches will not fit the cradle grips.
Verdict: The iOttie Easy One Touch Signature CD Mount is a reliable choice for drivers wanting fast, single-handed phone docking directly from their car stereo slot. It offers dependable adjustability for any compatible smartphone between 2.3 and 3.5 inches wide.
