Detailed Review
The Logitech Combo Touch turns a 10th generation iPad into a flexible workstation with physical typing, precision tracking, and full-body protection. It connects directly via the Apple Smart Connector, making it an ideal setup for students, writers, and professionals who want laptop-style navigation without carrying multiple accessories.
Daily productivity benefits from well-spaced backlit keys and a dedicated row of iPadOS shortcuts, including specific keys for dictation and screenshots. The integrated multi-gesture trackpad makes text selection and app switching straightforward. Because the case uses the Smart Connector, it sources power straight from the tablet, so you never have to remember to recharge the keyboard or manage wireless connections.
Versatility is a major strength thanks to the four supported modes: Type, Read, Sketch, and View. When you only want to watch media or read, the keyboard detaches entirely, while the built-in kickstand smoothly adjusts through 50 degrees of tilt to support sketching or viewing angles. Throughout daily use, the fitted case guards the tablet body against scratches, scuffs, and accidental liquid spills.
As for limitations, compatibility is strictly limited to 10th generation and select A16 iPad model numbers (A2696, A2757, A2777, A3162, A3354, A3355, and A3356). It will not fit older iPad generations or other sizes, and the design relies on the tablet's internal battery to power the keyboard and backlighting.
Verdict: The Logitech Combo Touch is a well-rounded choice for 10th gen iPad owners needing a reliable keyboard, a built-in trackpad, and versatile viewing angles without the hassle of charging.
