Detailed Review
The OIVO PS5 Controller Charger is a dedicated dual charging dock designed to keep your PlayStation 5 controllers powered and neatly organized. Built to charge two controllers at once, it serves as both an organized storage stand and a fast recharging hub. The styling matches the aesthetic of PS5 disc and digital consoles, clearing up loose cables around your setup.
Equipped with copper connector cradle ports and a dedicated AC power adapter, this charging station powers up to two standard PS5 wireless controllers or PS5 Edge controllers in 2 hours. Placing the controllers into the cradle begins the process immediately without fiddling with separate plug-in cords.
Monitoring your battery status is straightforward thanks to the display on the front. It uses red and blue lights to indicate whether the gamepads are currently charging or fully charged, alongside a flashing LED strap and blue side lighting. To save electricity when not in use, a dedicated on/off switch is located on the back near the USB-C input.
Regarding trade-offs, getting the fast 2-hour recharge requires connecting the dock to its designated AC power adapter rather than standard console USB ports. The package includes a protective anti-scratch film on the screen that needs to be removed before use, and the product listing does not specify the exact length of the power cable.
Verdict: This charging station is an easy recommendation for PlayStation 5 owners who regularly use multiple standard or Edge controllers and want a clean, 2-hour charging setup with a dedicated power adapter.
