This 4K security camera system suits homeowners and businesses that need multiple camera views, remote access, and continuous recording options in one package.
The standout feature is 4K Ultra HD video from the 8MP PoE cameras. For shoppers who want clearer footage when viewing their surroundings or digitally zooming into recorded images, this resolution is designed to provide more visible detail than lower resolution video. The system also includes person, vehicle, and animal detection settings, allowing alerts to focus on the types of activity that matter most to the user.
Daily monitoring is handled through the free Reolink app, which provides remote live views and playback on iOS and Android devices through WiFi or 3G/4G connections. The included 4TB HDD supports continuous recording and motion triggered recording choices, while the system can support storage expansion up to 16TB. This gives buyers flexibility in how they manage recorded footage over time.
The plug and play PoE design is aimed at making setup more straightforward, using a single network cable connection for each camera connection. Buyers should remember that the cameras in this kit are made to work with Reolink PoE NVR equipment and are not Wi Fi cameras. The system also does not work with smart home devices such as Alexa, which may matter for shoppers planning a connected home setup.
