Soundcore by Anker Q20i Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones, Pink
Highlights
- Block the World, Keep the Music: Four built-in mics work together to filter out background noise — whether you're in a packed office, on a crowded commute, or moving through a busy street — so every beat comes through clean and clear. (Not available in AUX-in mode.)
- Two Ways to Hear More: BassUp technology delivers deep, punchy bass and crisp highs in wireless mode — then step it up further by plugging in the included AUX cable to unlock Hi‑Res certified audio for studio-level clarity.
- 40 Hours. 5-Minute Top-Up: With ANC on, a single charge keeps you listening through days of commutes and long-haul flights. Running low? Just 5 minutes plugged in gives you 4 more hours — so you're never stuck waiting.
- Two Devices, Zero Hassle: Stay connected to your laptop and phone at the same time. Audio switches automatically to whichever device needs you — so a call never interrupts your flow, and getting back to your playlist is just as easy. Designed for commuters and remote workers who move smoothly between work and personal listening throughout the day.
- Your Sound, Your Rules: The soundcore app puts everything at your fingertips — dials your ideal EQ with presets or build your own, flip between ANC, Normal, and Transparency modes on the fly, or wind down with built-in white noise. One app, total control.
- Hear What Matters, When It Matters: Transparency mode blends your surroundings into your listening — catch a train announcement, respond to a colleague, or navigate busy streets without ever taking your earphones off.
- soundcore App Support: Download the soundcore app for software updates and access to available features. Personalize your listening with HearID, EQ modes, Spatial Audio, and adjustable ANC settings. OTA firmware updates help keep your earbuds updated.

Detailed Review
The Soundcore by Anker Q20i headphones combine active noise cancellation with everyday connectivity features for commuters and remote workers. Using four built-in microphones, the hybrid system targets ambient sounds on crowded streets or busy offices so you can focus on your media. The pink finish gives the over-ear design a distinct look, while the wireless setup lets you move freely through your daily routine.
Sound quality adapts to how you listen. In wireless mode, built-in BassUp technology emphasizes low frequencies and crisp highs. When you want uncompressed clarity, plugging in the included AUX cable enables Hi-Res certified audio. You can also tailor the profile through the soundcore companion app, which offers preset and custom EQ dials, Spatial Audio, HearID, and integrated white noise tracks for winding down.
Daily convenience is supported by strong battery performance and dual-device connectivity. With active noise cancelling running, a full charge delivers up to 40 hours of listening time. A quick 5-minute top-up supplies an extra 4 hours of playback when you are running short on time. Multipoint pairing keeps the headphones connected to your laptop and phone simultaneously, automatically shifting audio when an incoming call arrives.
There are a few functional limits to consider before purchasing. The active noise cancelling feature does not function while using the wired AUX-in mode, meaning noise reduction is restricted to Bluetooth use. Additionally, deeper personalization tools such as custom EQ profiles, adjustable ANC levels, and firmware updates require downloading and managing the soundcore mobile app.
Verdict: The Soundcore Q20i is a dependable choice for listeners who want long battery life, multipoint pairing, and customizable sound. It is well suited for daily commuters and desk workers who need effective noise reduction and easy switching between multiple devices.
