Super Mario Party Jamboree for Nintendo Switch

Super Mario Party Jamboree for Nintendo Switch is a multiplayer party video game built for group gaming sessions, family gatherings, and online competition. It packs over 110 minigames into a single title, providing plenty of variety for players looking for quick competitive challenges.

Board variety is a major focus, offering seven total boards to explore. Players can navigate new layouts like Goomba Lagoon and Rainbow Galleria, or take a nostalgic turn through returning classics such as Western Land and Mario's Rainbow Castle. Gameplay ranges from running through merry-go-rounds to precision motion-control minigolf.

For competitive multiplayer, the game introduces Koopathlon, an online mode where up to 20 players race across a board. In this mode, scoring higher in rapid minigames like Lane Change directly increases your movement speed toward the goal line. Beyond the main boards and Koopathlon, several additional modes are included to accommodate different group sizes and play preferences.

Keep in mind that certain features, like the 20-player Koopathlon, are strictly online experiences that require a network connection. Additionally, some activities rely on motion controls, which may not appeal to players who prefer standard button inputs exclusively.

Verdict: Super Mario Party Jamboree is a strong choice for Switch owners who enjoy varied multiplayer party games and large online showdowns. With seven boards and over 110 minigames, it offers ample entertainment for casual group gatherings.
