Detailed Review
The ToiLight Motion Sensor Toilet Bowl Light provides automated illumination for nighttime bathroom trips, eliminating the need to turn on harsh overhead lights. Designed to hang directly onto the rim, it detects movement in dark settings and lights up as you approach, offering a soft glow that keeps nighttime visits simple and functional.
Installation is straightforward, taking around five seconds thanks to a flexible, adjustable arm. The waterproof arm and LED diode ensure durability in humid conditions, while the universal mount fits securely without obstructing the toilet lid, regardless of whether the seat is left up or down. A wide-angle sensor detects movement across a broad area, turning the light on reliably when you enter.
For lighting customization, the device includes eight individual colors (Blue, Red, Pink, Green, Baby Blue, Purple, Yellow, and White) as well as a continuous color-rotation mode. It runs on three AAA batteries, which provide over six months of regular use thanks to an energy-efficient design. However, keep in mind that the required batteries are not included in the package, so you will need to supply your own before initial setup.
Verdict: The ToiLight toilet night light is an easy, practical addition for anyone wanting hands-free bathroom navigation in the dark. It offers reliable detection and flexible color choices in a quick-to-install design that fits any standard toilet.
