Detailed Review
70mai A810S 4K Dash Cam is a car dash cam built for drivers who want detailed recording, wider coverage, and added vehicle monitoring features. Its strongest appeal is the combination of true 4K front recording, a 1080P rear camera, and options for tracking and remote access, making it a fit for commuters, road trip drivers, and anyone who wants recorded footage available when needed.
The front camera uses a Sony STARVIS 2 sensor and records in 4K UHD, while the rear camera records in 1080P. The MaiColor Vivid+ Solution is designed to improve exposure and color accuracy, helping footage show balanced colors and details. The 146° front view and 130° rear view provide broad coverage, which can help capture more of the surrounding road area.
Night recording is a major focus of the A810S. It combines Sony STARVIS 2 sensors for the front and rear cameras with Lumi Vision black-light full-color technology, a Night Owl Vision algorithm, and an F1.7 aperture. For buyers who drive after dark or park in dim areas, these features are aimed at keeping footage clearer in low light conditions.
The camera also includes smart features beyond recording. AI Motion Detection 2.0 can identify people and vehicles, while collision detection and a built in G-sensor can automatically record and lock footage after an impact. The optional 4G hardwire kit enables remote viewing, vehicle location checks, and alerts through the 70mai App. Wi-Fi 6 supports video transfers and app access, while GPS tracks speed, route, and location information.
Verdict: The 70mai A810S is a strong match for drivers who want a feature rich dash cam with high resolution recording, night focused technology, and optional remote monitoring. Buyers who want a simpler camera with fewer connected features may prefer a more basic option.
