Antennas Direct ClearStream 4V Outdoor TV Antenna

Antennas Direct ClearStream 4V TV Antenna is built for shoppers who want free over the air television reception with a long range antenna design and flexible placement options. It is suited to people who want to receive broadcast signals without relying on an internet connection for their TV viewing. The design uses four patented loops, Hi VHF elements, and reflectors to help capture signals from broadcast towers.

The ClearStream 4V uses dedicated UHF and Hi VHF elements along with a 43 degree horizontal reception pattern to help capture available channels from different directions. For everyday use, this means the antenna is designed around collecting broadcast signals rather than acting as a cable replacement. The reflectors focus the antenna's power forward and are intended to help protect incoming signals from interference that can cause pixelation or loss of picture.

Placement flexibility is another important part of the design. The antenna can be installed indoors, in an attic, or outdoors, depending on what works for the buyer's space. Its included 20 inch mast has a pivoting base for vertical or horizontal surface installation, and the package includes all weather mounting hardware, an adjustable mast clamp, reflectors, a Hi VHF kit, and instructions to support different setup approaches.

The main trade off is that antenna reception depends on the location of TV towers and factors such as trees, obstructions, and building materials around the home. This product is designed for receiving over the air broadcasts, so it does not provide cable TV channels. Buyers should consider their surroundings and preferred placement before choosing this antenna.

Verdict: The ClearStream 4V is a strong fit for shoppers who want a versatile outdoor TV antenna with support for current broadcast formats and multiple installation options. It makes the most sense for buyers comfortable considering their local reception conditions, while those seeking cable channels should look for a different type of service.
