Detailed Review
AULA S99 gaming keyboard is designed for buyers who want a flexible keyboard for both computer work and gaming, with multiple connection options and customizable controls as its main strengths. The 99 key design combines a familiar full size layout with a numeric keypad area, making it suited for people who prefer traditional keyboard arrangements while still wanting wireless connectivity.
The biggest convenience comes from the three connection modes. The S99 can connect through Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless mode, or a USB Type-C cable wired mode, allowing buyers to choose a connection style that matches their setup. It can connect with up to five devices at the same time, and switching between devices is handled through an FN key combination.
This keyboard also focuses on personalization. The RGB backlighting can be adjusted for brightness and speed using the knob or FN key combinations, and macro software allows users to create custom lighting setups. The keyboard includes M1, M2, and M3 buttons that can be remapped or used to combine multiple keys into a single key, which can be useful for users who like customized shortcuts.
The 96% layout keeps the numeric keypad area while using a slightly different arrangement than a traditional full size keyboard. The included three colors of keycaps add a decorative touch, while the foldable two-stage kickstand lets users choose between tilt angles for their preferred typing position. Buyers should keep in mind that a keyboard with a numeric keypad and added controls takes more desk space than a smaller layout, so it may not suit every workspace.
Verdict: The AULA S99 is a good choice for shoppers who want a wireless gaming keyboard with device flexibility, RGB customization, and a numeric keypad. It is less suited for buyers who specifically want the smallest possible keyboard layout or a simpler keyboard without extra customization features.
