Detailed Review
The BESIGN LS03 Aluminum Laptop Stand is a desktop riser designed to lift portable computers into a more comfortable viewing position. It caters to desk workers and students using laptops ranging from 10 to 15.6 inches, aiming to improve sitting posture and reduce neck and shoulder strain during long working sessions.
Built from aluminum alloy, the stand supports laptops up to 8.8 pounds (4 kg) without wobbling. To protect your hardware, rubber pads line the holding arms, ensuring your computer stays firmly in place while preventing scratches on the casing. The open-frame design allows natural airflow around the base of the machine, helping ventilate the underside and prevent your computer from overheating.
Setup is straightforward thanks to its detachable construction, which lets you put the unit together in three quick steps. When not in use, the frame folds flat to free up desk space and keep your workspace organized. It lifts your screen by roughly 5.7 to 6 inches (14.5 cm), creating extra room underneath for small desk accessories.
As a trade-off, the stand features a fixed elevated position rather than multi-angle or height-adjustable joints. It is also limited to laptops up to 15.6 inches, so larger 16-inch or 17-inch devices are outside its stated compatibility range. Note that the listing mentions both a 6-inch and a 5.7-inch (14.5 cm) lift.
Verdict: The BESIGN LS03 is a sturdy, no-nonsense desktop stand for anyone using a 10 to 15.6-inch laptop. If you want a simple aluminum riser that promotes device cooling and sets up in seconds, it is a practical choice for your workspace.
