HYPEREV AX3000 Gaming Router WiFi Booster for PS5, PC & Consoles –

The HYPEREV AX3000 Gaming Router is an add-on WiFi 6 booster designed to improve online gaming performance without requiring you to replace your existing home router. It targets PC and console players who deal with latency and unstable connections during competitive multiplayer sessions. Setup is straightforward, functioning as a plug-and-play addition that links directly to your current network setup.

Equipped with dual-band WiFi 6, the device delivers wireless speeds up to 2402Mbps across 5GHz and 2.4GHz frequencies. To tackle latency, it utilizes GearUP VIP Acceleration, which directs network traffic through optimized routes to cut ping by up to 50 percent and minimize packet loss. Device settings and acceleration modes can be managed from a phone or computer using the dedicated GearUP Router app over wireless or Ethernet connections.

The unit works across a broad range of hardware, including the PS5, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and gaming PCs, offering game-specific optimizations for more than 1000 titles. To get started right away, it comes bundled with a 90-day GearUP VIP Core plan and a one-month Discord Nitro code.

There are a few key limitations to keep in mind before purchasing. The router is explicitly not compatible with Starlink internet setups. Additionally, the included GearUP VIP Core acceleration service is a 90-day trial, meaning continued access to those specific routing benefits will require an ongoing subscription.

Verdict: The HYPEREV AX3000 is an easy add-on for console and PC gamers looking to reduce ping and packet loss on their current network. It is well suited for players seeking plug-and-play latency reduction across modern platforms, provided they do not use Starlink.

A great fit if you:

• Play competitive online games on PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, or Steam Deck.
• Want to reduce gaming lag without swapping out your primary home router.
• Prefer managing network acceleration features through a mobile or desktop app.
• Want included trial access to GearUP VIP routing and Discord Nitro.

Consider something else if you:

• Use Starlink for your home internet service.
• Do not want a system tied to a 90-day VIP acceleration plan.
