KODAK Step Instant Smartphone Photo Printer, Portable Mini Color Wireless Mobile Printer, Zink 2x3” (5.1x7.5 cm) Sticky-Back Photos, Bluetooth Compatible with iOS & Android Devices, Editing App, White

KODAK STEP ZINK Photo Printer is a portable photo printer made for shoppers who want a simple way to turn smartphone images into physical prints with a sticky back finish. It suits people who enjoy creating small photo projects, decorating items, or keeping favorite digital moments in a printed format without needing a larger printer setup.

The main appeal of the STEP Printer is its wireless connection with iOS and Android devices through Bluetooth or NFC. This means the printer is designed around phone based photo creation, letting users move from images stored on their devices to printed photos through a mobile process. The KODAK app adds another layer of customization with tools for collages, filters, borders, stickers, and text, giving creative users ways to personalize their prints before making them.

This printer uses ZINK 2 x 3 inch sticky back paper with embedded dye crystals, creating prints that can be peeled and placed on different surfaces. The included starter pack of KODAK ZINK photo paper, micro USB charging cable, quick start guide, and limited warranty provide the items listed for getting started. Its compact design is focused on portability, with a palm sized body, a weight of less than a pound, and a built in lithium ion rechargeable battery that can print up to 25 photos on a full charge.

The trade off for this compact approach is that the printer focuses on a specific photo format rather than offering a range of print sizes. Buyers who want a small, creative printer for mobile photos may appreciate this focused design, while shoppers who need different print formats or a broader printing setup may want to consider other options.

Verdict: The KODAK STEP Printer is a good choice for people who want a lightweight smartphone photo printer with editing tools and sticky back prints. It is less suited for shoppers who need multiple photo sizes or a more general purpose printer.

A great fit if you:

• Want to turn phone photos into physical keepsakes for creative personal projects.
• Enjoy adding filters, stickers, borders, or text before printing your images.
• Prefer a compact device that can create photos without a larger printer setup.

Consider something else if you:

• Need a printer with multiple photo formats and a wider range of output choices.
• Prefer a larger capacity model designed for a different printing workflow.

Confirm on the listing:

• Check whether your phone or tablet uses a compatible iOS or Android connection method.
• Check which photo paper options are available if you plan ongoing printing.
• Confirm the included items match what you want for your first printing session.
• Check whether the compact size fits your intended storage or carrying needs.

How to compare your options: Focus on the photo size, connection method, editing features, portability, and included accessories that matter most for your projects. The STEP Printer stands out for its ZINK 2 x 3 inch sticky back photos, mobile app features, and portable rechargeable design. If your priorities are different, compare those specific features before choosing.

Start by following the quick start guide included with the printer and connect it with your compatible mobile device as directed. Using the app before printing lets you explore the available editing options and personalize photos with filters, borders, stickers, text, or collages.

Keep the printer paired with the devices you plan to use for photo creation and keep the charging cable available when power is needed. The rechargeable battery design makes it suitable for creating prints away from a desk.

Store the printer and photo paper as recommended in the included instructions. When caring for the device, follow the product guidance for keeping it ready for future photo projects.
