LG 32GX850A-B 32" UltraGear 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) Glossy OLED Gaming Monitor, Dual-Mode 165Hz/330Hz, 0.03ms, G-SYNC, FreeSync Premium Pro, TrueBlack 400, HDMI, DP, Tilt/Height/Swivel/Pivot Stand, Black

The LG 32GX850A-B is a 4K OLED gaming monitor built for players who want detailed visuals and flexible speed options in one display. Its standout feature is the ability to switch between a high resolution 4K mode and a faster Full HD mode, making it a strong match for buyers who enjoy both visually rich games and fast paced competitive titles.

The 32-inch glossy OLED display uses a 3840 x 2160 resolution to show fine details, while OLED technology with a 1.5M:1 contrast ratio supports deep black levels and strong image separation. VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and up to 98.5% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage are designed for buyers who care about rich colors and detailed scenes. Micro Lens Array+ technology is included to provide a typical brightness of 275 nits and improved viewing angles compared with previous UltraGear OLED gaming displays.

Speed is another major focus of this monitor. The LG 32GX850A-B offers up to 165Hz at 4K UHD or up to 330Hz in Full HD through its dual mode feature, allowing users to select the experience that matches their game. Its 0.03ms GtG response time, NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible support, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support are aimed at reducing tearing, stutter, and visible motion issues during play.

The design also supports flexible positioning. The virtually borderless, ultra-thin display includes a stand with height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments, helping users set their viewing position to match their desk setup. Gaming features such as Dynamic Action Sync, Black Stabilizer, FPS Counter, and Crosshair provide additional controls for different types of gameplay.

The main trade-off comes from the choices built into the design. Buyers need to decide whether they prefer the higher detail of 4K UHD at 165Hz or the faster Full HD 330Hz option. The glossy finish is part of the display design, so shoppers should consider whether that style fits their intended environment.

Verdict: The LG 32GX850A-B is a strong choice for gamers who want an OLED display with both high resolution and high refresh rate flexibility. Shoppers who want a single monitor for detailed games and fast competitive play should consider it, while buyers who prefer a simpler fixed display approach may want a different option.
