TCL 98 Inch Class QM7L Series | SQD-Mini-LED QLED Smart TV | 98QM7L, 2026 Model | 144Hz | Ultimate Color Ultra Brightness & Contrast | Google AI Bang & Olufsen | Voice Gaming Streaming Television

TCL 98QM7L 98 Inch Mini LED TV is a large screen television designed for shoppers who want a highly featured home entertainment display with advanced picture control. The 98QM7L stands out through its SQD-Mini LED system, making it a fit for viewers who want a combination of size, color control, contrast features and smart entertainment tools in one television.

The SQD-Mini LED system brings together the TCL Deep Color System and TCL Halo Control System to manage color and lighting details. The Ultra Color Filter uses fine 5 nanometer particles, compared with standard 60 nanometer particles, to support pixel-level color accuracy. For viewers who care about how scenes appear, these picture technologies are focused on creating controlled color and contrast presentation.

The HVA 2.0 Pro Panel is designed with a high contrast, anti-reflective panel, giving the screen a picture approach that is intended to work across different viewing environments. The AIPQ Pro Processor adds AI driven adjustments for picture clarity, contrast, color, motion, upscaling and backlighting based on the incoming video signal. The TV also supports complete HDR formats for enhanced contrast, color accuracy and visible details.

Gaming and audio are also key parts of the design. The TCL Game Pack includes Game Accelerator 288 VRR, Game Bar and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to support responsive gaming features. Audio by Bang and Olufsen is built in, with support for an optional wireless subwoofer and satellite speakers for shoppers who want to expand their home theater audio setup.

The main trade-off comes from the size and feature set. A 98 inch television is intended for buyers with the right viewing space, and the many picture, gaming and audio options may require some time to adjust to personal preferences. Verdict: The TCL 98QM7L is a strong choice for shoppers who want a very large TV with advanced Mini LED picture features, smart processing and gaming tools. Buyers looking for a simpler television with fewer advanced features may prefer a more straightforward option.
