Detailed Review
The Logitech G PRO X Wireless Lightspeed Gaming Headset brings low-latency audio to players who want to eliminate cable clutter. Designed for competitive play, it pairs a reliable 2.4 GHz wireless link with solid hardware to help you pinpoint subtle sound cues without being tethered to your desk.
Audio performance relies on PRO-G 50 mm drivers tuned for precise sound imaging and improved bass. On PC, DTS Headphone:X 2.0 technology creates an object-based 7.1 channel soundstage, making it easier to gauge the distance and direction of steps or environmental events. The headset also offers over 20 hours of battery life per charge and maintains a connection up to 15 meters away.
For comfort and endurance, the frame combines a steel headband with aluminum forks. Logitech includes two sets of memory foam earpads in the box: a leatherette pair for passive noise isolation and a soft velour pair for added breathability during warmer sessions. Tailoring equalizer profiles and microphone behavior is handled via the downloadable G Hub software.
Console users should note a few functional trade-offs. While compatible with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, audio output is limited to USB wireless stereo rather than full 7.1 surround sound. Additionally, Nintendo Switch support is restricted to docked mode, and advanced tuning always requires access to a computer running G Hub.
Verdict: This headset is an excellent choice for PC gamers seeking durable build quality, long battery life, and precise directional audio. Console players who only require stereo sound will also appreciate its sturdy design and comfortable earpad options.
