Detailed Review
The TCL QM6K Series is a 65-inch 4K television built for viewers who want high visual clarity across streaming, gaming, and sports. It pairs Mini LED illumination with Quantum Dot color, delivering strong brightness and over a billion colors to maintain vivid imagery in bright or dim rooms.
To handle contrast, the TV includes TCL's Halo Control System. This local dimming setup focuses on minimizing haloing around bright objects against dark backgrounds, improving shadow detail so nighttime and low-light scenes remain clear and accurate.
Motion handling is led by a native 144Hz refresh rate paired with Motion Rate 480 technology. This setup reduces motion blur during high-speed live sports and action scenes. For content compatibility, it supports major HDR formats including Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG.
While the display specifications cover the core picture essentials, the listing leaves out several practical details. There is no information regarding built-in speaker wattage, audio formats, physical dimensions, or the number and type of input ports.
Verdict: The TCL QM6K 65-inch TV is well suited for sports fans, gamers, and movie watchers seeking high refresh rates and robust HDR compatibility. If you prioritize fluid motion and strong contrast handling in a 65-inch screen, it is a reliable choice.
