ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ3A 27 Inch 1440p 180Hz G-SYNC Gaming Monitor

The ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ3A is a 27-inch display built for gamers who want high-definition clarity alongside fast frame rates. Combining a 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution with a 180Hz refresh rate, it gives competitive players and daily computer users a crisp, smooth visual experience.

Visual performance centers around a Fast IPS panel with a 1ms response time and 130% sRGB color gamut coverage. It supports wide viewing angles and accurate color reproduction. For fast-paced games, the monitor includes ELMB Sync, which allows extreme low motion blur technology to run at the same time as variable refresh rate modes. It supports FreeSync Premium, G-Sync compatibility, and AdaptiveSync to prevent screen tearing and motion stutter.

Setup is straightforward with the included DisplayPort cable, power cord, power adapter, quick start guide, warranty card, and an L-shaped screwdriver. The monitor also features built-in speakers for immediate audio output and supports HDR-10 format for expanded contrast between dark and bright areas. ASUS also bundles a 3-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription with the purchase.

While the display offers robust visual tech, it does rely on an external power adapter rather than an internal power supply. Additionally, HDR compatibility is focused specifically on the HDR-10 standard, and the listing does not mention specific stand adjustments such as height or swivel.

Verdict: The ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ3A is a great option for PC gamers who want a balanced 1440p setup with a fast 180Hz refresh rate and versatile sync support. It delivers rich colors and sharp motion handling right out of the box.
